Objectives of the consortium

All Members of the Consortium share the objectives illustrated in the preamble. They intend to promote and strengthen the scientific and academic cooperation recognizing:

• the importance of structured cooperation between universities, research centers, industries, and scientific and professional associations;

• the value of a collaborative approach for research, education, and life-long training;

• the impact of cooperation between Members to improving education systems and offering life-long opportunities;

• the relevance of collaboration in technology transfer and professional growth.

Specific objectives of the consortium

The Members of the Consortium aim at cooperating in the fields of interest to promote for example:

• development of technologies and related applications;

• activation of research activities;

• knowledge dissemination;

• training of researchers and professionals;

• teaching, innovation, and innovative teaching in university programs;

• dissemination of advanced technologies and applications in university programs;

• life-long educational programs;

• technology transfer to the industry, especially to SMEs;

• identification and dissemination of best practices in research, technology, and applications;

• synergies with scientific and professional associations;

• awareness among the public at large.
